The blip was an inevitability, and now it’s here.After a remarkable undefeated run that stretched back 21 league games, the Gills lost out against Harrogate Town at home last weekend. And on Saturday, they fell to back-to-back defeats with a 3-2 reverse at MK Dons.Goals from Seb Palmer-Houlden and Jonny Williams gave the scoreline a veneer of respectability, but in truth the Gills had been outmaneuvered and outplayed at Stadium MK as a Gills side without manager Gareth Ainsworth – recuperating after heart surgery earlier in the week – gave themselves too much to do after falling three goals down away from home.As the dust settled on the Gills’ second defeat of the season, Tom Jasper took the helm for the post-match podcast as he unpacked the day’s events, as the Gills produced aruguably their least impressive performance of the season so far.
