Pengecast is a new monthly podcast from the Councillors for Penge and Cator in London Borough of Bromley. This is our first episode, covering: Environment- Simon Jeal is joined by Sam from Bromley Youth Strikers 4 Climate and Laura, a local active travel campaigner, to discuss Bromley's Air Quality Action Plan and Active Travel. Education- Kevin Brooks gives on local education matters, including recent exams results, issues with academisation and 'feeder schools' in Bromley and our recent survey for local residents on proposals to build a secondary school in Penge. Public Protection- Kathy Bance is interviewed about the serious crime issues we have faced locally in recent years and our efforts, engaging with the police and local community, to address the underlying causes.
