People wanted to ignore that but they were always there. Sean Strickland had the right answers and asked the proper questions of Khamzat Chimaev. At the end of the day, we all knew deep down that Khamzat Chimaev had cardio issues. Some were just jaded by the Dricus Du Plessis win and thought Sean Strickland would do the same.Joshua Van and Tatsuro Taira put on a banger of a show. Tatsuro Taira aimed to become the first Japanese champion in UFC history but came up short. Joshua Van had all the answers for the grappling of Tatsuro Taira. His grappling and ability to get up is what won him this fight. Joshua Van now has to fight Alexandre Pantoja, the man he won the title from.Alexander Volkov is an interesting case. He’s not exciting anymore. He’s developed a game that uses his reach well and he sticks with gameplans. Against Waldo Cortes Acosta, he stuck to that plan. While Waldo Cortes Acosta was the faster and heavier hitting fighter, Alexander Volkov won the day and earned another shot at a number one contender fight. Sean Brady bodied Joaquin Buckley. Joaquin Buckley is allergic to wrestling. We saw that with Kamaru Usman and now with Sean Brady. Sean Brady is top five material. But up against those heavy hitters, we can’t trust him to make it out the round.Yaroslav Amosov was another huge winner at UFC 328. He beat a tough Joel Alvarez and made his name known on the big stage. As he works his way up the welterweight rankings, Yaroslav Amosov will be a name fans will have to get accustomed to hearing.
