The podcast aims to highlight and uplift young WOC and their stories, as oftentimes, WOC are spoken over and ignored. Each episode is hosted by 2 or 3 of the co-hosts to give listeners a fresh perspective on pressing issues. Colonize This hopes to give young WOC a voice, while also changing the narrative of modern day activism within the gen-z community. A show that highlights the struggles of the highs and lows of high school football (just kidding). Euphoria is titled as an "emotional realism" based show which follows the battles young adults have with substance abuse, addiction, and general high school friendships/relationships. If you haven't seen it go check it out on HBO! Your hosts for today are Alina, Kelsey, and Marie, where the three discuss S2 of Euphoria and what their takes are on the show. They talk about the diversity of the show, the cinematography, as well as the more graphic parts like the excessive nude scenes and hyper-sexualization of the actresses on set.
