Claire Bidwell Smith is a therapist specializing in grief and the author of several popular books of nonfiction. After experiencing the loss of both of her parents at a young age, Claire came through her own healing journey to become someone who regularly inspires others to heal. Now she is offering an even more intimate conversation in her Sunday Mourning Podcast series. In each episode shell dive into different topics related to grief everything from guilt and anxiety to the afterlife bringing on various guests, as well as revealing more of her personal journey and revelations. Claire has written three books about grief and loss: The Rules of Inheritance (Penguin, 2012), After This: When Life is Over Where Do We Go? (Penguin, 2015), and the forthcoming Anxiety: The Missing Stage of Grief (Da Capo, 2018). Claires goal is to broaden the discussion about grief and to help others find a more peaceful way through the pain of losing someone they love. She maintains a private practice seeing clients in Los Angeles, where she lives.
