PODCAST | Lawrence & CelauroWhen it comes to providing high-quality entertain Author: Lawrence & Celauro
When it comes to providing high-quality entertainment through infectious crowd bumping sound and chilling tracks that evoke that euphoric feel good feeling, DJs Steven Lawrence & Stuart Celauro could not be more in tune with this ideology and have practically made it their mantra. Growing up in polar opposite cities, both found themselves surrounded and infected by music at a young age. In Chicago, IL, one of the most influential birth places of EDM, Steven developed his passion for music growing up surrounded by musically inclined family members, was dj-ing at 16 and producing by 28. Further south, in Houston, TX, Stuart mastered the piano, drums and guitar by 15, was dj-ing at 25 and producing his own tracks by 29. Finally meeting one night at an afterhours party, the soon-to-be dynamic duo enthusiastically exchanged their similar tastes in music, decided to create some music together and a seamless hypnotic blend of sound was born. Since then they have been generating hard progressive trance and electro for the last four years. With over 7 tracks released they have found their stride in this industry and it didnt take long for major artists & record labels to notice the duo. With influences such as Eric Prydz, Jaytech, Rafael Frost, Ashley Wallbridge, and Gabriel & Dresden, Laurence & Celauros unique sound has set them apart and taken them to the top of the Houston EDM scene. Lawrence & Celauro joined Armada Record Label in September 2012 with the release of Atlantic which quickly made its way into the sets of many artists including Arty, Tritonal and Protoculture. Their style can be defined as a high energy melodic combination of aggressive trance & electro beats coupled with distorted heavy metal bass lines and over-the- top melodies. Now a regular fixture of Houstons nightlife/club scene, Lawrence & Celauro have played alongside Ferry Corsten, Arty, and Mat Zo.
