E iloa le tama Sāmoa i lana tu, lana savali ma lana tautala.
Episode 2
Sunday, 1 December, 2019

In this episode we reflect on how fa'a-Sāmoa values and beliefs have influenced our parenting approach. The well-known Sāmoan phrase "E iloa le tama Sāmoa i lana tu, lana savali ma lana tautala" means that the essence of "being Sāmoan" is in how you carry yourself and interact with others in a way that is respectful (fa'aaloalo) and appropriate according to Sāmoan values, cultural customs and social norms.
