I was in a stage of life where I would have protected my children from everything if I could, but I quickly discovered that was impossible. As I started praying in a Moms in Prayer group, my relationship with the Lord began to take shape. I went from knowing about Him, to really trusting Him, His name, and His character. Praying together with other moms not only taught me how to pray, but how to let go of all I wanted to control and to trust God—His word, His work, His provision, and His plans.My husband Tom and I have been married for 41 years and we live in Deshler, Ohio. We have been blessed with four sons, two beautiful daughter-in-loves and five adorable grandchildren. I have been a part of Moms in Prayer for over 30 years. I served as the State Coordinator for Ohio from 2015-2022.
