Names of God: Elohim

McKnight Crossings Church lead minister, Andrew Owens, begins a new sermon series by asking us “What is in a name?”. Andrew introduces us to the numerous names of God and lays out how, over this series, we will learn about names He has been known as, what they have meant, and how they help us relate with who God is. We begin with “Elohim”, translated to “Mighty Creator” and are encouraged to see the scale and might of a being that created us and all we experience with a single statement. We are encouraged to put our faith in this God who can do all things.
