Policy-making, Federalism and Decentralisation in Myanmar
Episode 3
Saturday, 7 November, 2020
The Myanmar Elections Briefing is a three part podcast series on the information you need to know about the Myanmar General Elections 2020. Our third and final episode takes a forward looking approach - regardless who wins in the polls today, there are key priorities that need to be undertaken for the next term. In this episode we talk about the progress and challenges of policy-making in the Myanmar Government. We then have a special guest joining us, Ma Cho Zin Thet, an alumni of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy who works at a research think tank in Myanmar. Ma Cho Zin Thet will be talking about the critical importance of getting federalism and decentralisation right in the next term.
