The unfolding pandemic of COVID-19 and the unprecedented unemployment numbers within America caused me to reflect on the time I was abruptly fired. In 2016, I had just moved to Los Angeles not knowing anyone, with an amazing job only to be let go after 7 months. It’s an incredible experience that turns you into someone completely different on the other side.
