Whitney Wolanin gave us a shout out at Fantalk then her songs moved us check it out here. I've been playing piano for quite a while. I started around first grade. At first, I really didn't like practicing, but luckily my parents are smarter than me (yes I said it…don't use it against me, mom) and made me continue playing and I'm overjoyed that they did. There's nothing greater than taking feelings that have built up and releasing them through music. It's the ultimate catharsis, almost like a therapy session. And it's free! (minus cost of paper, pens, and said piano). What could be better? (minus also having a pet penguin). All of my songs are about my life, which can at times be a lot to put out there for anyone and everyone to hear, especially those they're written about. But that's what makes them (hopefully) relatable.
