In this episode of Sūrah An-Naḥl (verses 73–77), Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf explains the futility of worshipping anyone besides Allah, as these idols neither provide sustenance from the heavens or the earth nor have any power to benefit or protect humankind. The verses remind us that all provision, guidance, and support come solely from Allah, the All-Powerful, Most Wise, and Most Merciful. They emphasize the importance of sincere worship, reliance on Allah, and following His guidance in every aspect of life. The ayahs encourage reflection on gratitude, responsibility, and moral accountability, reminding us that true worth is determined by faith, righteous action, and obedience to Allah alone. Finally, the verses affirm that all knowledge of the unseen in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah, and bringing about the Hour would take no more than the blink of an eye, highlighting His absolute power, wisdom, and control over all creation.
