Homicide 18-045772 Javaris Wilson

On January 28, 2018, the Lee County Sheriff’s responded to a report of a just occurred shooting in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Upon arrival on scene, deputies discovered 21-year-old Javaris Wilson shot to death in the doorway of his family’s home. Further investigation Javaris was ambushed when he opened his front door. Javris was on the couch with his fiancé and friend moments before the shooting when he got a call, went to the door, and was shot and killed. Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for this crime, and request that anyone with information contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
