Cole Chaney is an Ashland, Kentucky native that quickly gained popularity for his songwriting that tells stories that many in Eastern Kentucky are all too familiar with. Cole has just released his first album, Mercy, and you can find it wherever you listen to music. During our interview, we discuss Cole's upbringing, his background in welding, and the origin of his songwriting. With a View is a series highlighting artists that deserve to be highlighted. Each episode will have an interview with the artist diving into their music, their backgrounds, and their personalities, then, we’ll get to hear the music played live.
