Global SES #5: Women Building Peace: A Regional Lens on the Caucasus In this episode, we are hosting Dr Leila Alieva, an academic and a think tank founder, currently an affiliate at the REES, Oxford School for Global and Area Studies at the University of Oxford. Her academic interests are in energy, security and conflict processes, and political regime dynamics of oil-rich states, with a special focus on the Caucasus region. In this episode, we unpack the regional dynamics of energy politics, the role of international actors promoting democratization, the dynamics of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict with a personal and gendered lens, along with the concept of radical love.
