When considering the musical inspiration & working pallette of Drm Peopls, your mind & body literally has to take a journey to those very places that have randomly pollinated the spirit of his work. The music is a personal embodiment of random time, place, & circumstance of existence that creates the rich fabric that assimilates into the multi cultural tapestry and experience interweaving the entire expression; it reflects the maker. Growing up in a multi ethnic military family upbringing brought together variance in everything.Drawing inspiration from youth skate culture where everything is an aesthetical potluck of sorts, you can feel the pull of everything from a an arty indie dance number running around some basement hip hop cut touching hands with latin jazz pulsing on the rhythm of deep house with the raw and unabashed emotion of anarcho punk; the tool bag pulls from everything because there has been many roads to build. With Drm Peopls, there is a heavy concentration on the rythym whether it be straight forward or syncopated, it's the drum that creates the pulse and the people are the movement it follows.
