"The Divine Presence," An Interview with Susan Joy Bellavance

One of the things I enjoy about hosting this podcast is speaking with authors and learning what inspired them to write their books. For example, I was thrilled to learn that a miracle took place that led to author, Susan Joy Bellavance, being able to publish her new children’s book, “This Little Light of Thine”. The best part is the miracle involved a Nebraska priest and led Bishop Conley of the Diocese of Lincoln to endorse the book. (I used to live in Nebraska for many years and have a lot of respect for the bishop and priests there, so it made it extra sweet to read the book.)In “This Little Light of Thine”, readers young and old are drawn in through the beautiful illustrations to the sanctuary lamp, burning brightly in every Catholic Church, all pointing to the true presence. It’s a delightful book to read and has our two-year-old’s stamp of approval.In this episode, Susan shares about the amazing miracle and her desire to start a Eucharistic revolution, reminding everyone of the power of Christ’s presence in every tabernacle.
