It's hard enough trying to understand feeds, stories, 'DMs' and 'finstas', let alone differentiating between safe and unsafe behavior for teens online. Parents understand that social media is how teens communicate with their friends, find information and learn new things about the world. That means it's often not realistic to block access to it outright. That's why we wanted to ask: how can parents wrap their heads around social media?
