In what was billed to be a fiery affair, the first North London Derby of the year was anything but. Spurs looked to contain Arsenal and failed miserably. The Gunners got the best over their North London neighbors and fell 4-1 at the Emirates. Elsewhere, Liverpool lost at home to Forest and City lost on the road at Newcastle all while Chelsea secured full points at at Burnely. These results leave the Blues second, six points behind league leaders Arsenal.
