Death, taxes and change. These are things that are inevitable and change, in the financial services industry, is happening and accelerating at quite some pace. Currently, in the Financial Advice space, one of the most significant changes is the transition from a product-based environment to an advice-based environment. It only takes one breath to say this but the effects are significant and are going to pose terrific challenges for all role players including the Financial Institutions and Financial Advisors. Combine this with the focus and the regulatory emphasis on suitable, predictable and appropriate client outcomes, the challenges and, dare I say, the opportunities, are mounting up.
