INTRO:There’s a woman at my job—a patient with dementia. She roams the halls, restless, confused, talking to people who aren’t there. Most days, she gets on everyone’s nerves. They tell her to sit down, go to her room, behave. But today, I tried something different. I didn’t correct her. I connected.
