ICU Life and Recovery PodcastAuthor: Mark Hudson
We will hopefully cover all things ICU not just from the patient perspective but also for the numerous fields involved in caring for a patient in ICU as well as helping them recover afterwards. Myself and any guests I have will speak as candidly about our experience in ICU regardless of what side of the experience we come from. My hope is this will dispel any myths or misunderstandings on what it is like to be in ICU. I was in ICU for 3 weeks, 2 1/2 in a medically induced coma, I suffer from Sepsis and ARDS while in ICU and a whole host of psychological and physical issues afterwards.
