On today's episode, we discuss the impact of the Dark Souls series of games by FromSoftware, as well as it's peripheral games like BloodBorne. Like always, we have a strong focus on the aesthetic and artistic content of the game, as well as its philosophical implications. We also delve into the direction behind the mechanics and game-play a little more than usual, as we believe they strongly influence the players takeaway from the game, more so than in other series.
