Podmissum, is the podcast series of Trinity School in New York City, a diverse community of learning creating engaged and inspired citizens since 1709. Trinity is a k-12, independent, coeducational school on Manhattans Upper West Side. These podcasts highlight innovative education programs, explore k-12 education initiatives, and share the presentations of compelling speakers from within and from outside the Trinity community through interviews, guest speakers, documentaries, performances, athletic competitions, and other events at the School. This podcast features alumna author Sophie Brickman, class of 2002. Sophie is a writer, journalist, and editor whose work has appeared in the “New Yorker,” the “New York Times,” the “Wall Street Journal,” “Saveur,” the “San Francisco Chronicle,” the “Best Food Writing” compilation, and the “Best American Science Writing” compilation, among other publications. She is a contributor to the op/ed section of the “Guardian,” and her first book, “Baby, Unplugged,” explored the intersection between parenting and technology. Her second book, and debut novel, is “Plays Well With Others.”
