First-ever episode of the monthly AB-LA Radio, featuring live DJ mixes, political analysis on current issues, interviews with community members, and street reporting. Hosted by Anakbayan LA members Pauline Alvarado and Josh Jimenez, with DJ's ET and Jedi on the 1's and 2's. Featuring discussions on local to international issues such as the California Domestic Workers Bill of Rights, the unprecedented Long Beach People's State of the City, the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) and its effects on you, as well as the campaign against the increasing US militarization and intervention in the Philippines. Also featuring "Reflections from the Motherland," with member Romeo Hebron sharing experiences from his recent exposure trip to Southern Tagalog, Philippines.
