S10E25 - The Respected and Reliable Laura Rogers
Episode 25
Friday, 20 December, 2024
Episode Notes I can't think of a better way to close out 2024 on "Blabbin' In the Bluegrass" than with this week's very special guest! She is Mrs. Laura Rogers, a long-time TV journalism fixture in Kentucky, who spent a number of years at Bowling Green's WBKO (Channel 13). She is now part of the KET team, where she regularly contributes to the network's nightly news show "Kentucky Edition". We'll learn more about the steps she took to get there, the broadcasters she idolized as a child, and the invaluable lessons she learned working alongside icons such as Bowling Green meteorologist Chris Allen. If you can't smile when listening to Laura Rogers, you probably aren't really listening!
