The result strengthened Liverpool’s push for a top-four finish, in a match that made Premier League history as just the fourth to feature no English players in either starting XI.At Villa Park (08:00), Aston Villa left it late to beat Brighton thanks to Tyrone Mings’ decisive header, extending Brighton’s winless league run to 13 matches and boosting Villa’s European hopes.Newcastle United claimed a close win away at Tottenham Hotspur (13:30), deepening Spurs’ struggles.
