In week three of the Asking for a Friend series, Gary explores the deep desire we all have to live a life that matters and challenges how we often misunderstand purpose and calling. It shows how some people chase significance in the wrong ways, while others hold back because they don’t believe they have anything meaningful to offer. Instead of either extreme, we’re invited to shift our focus toward what truly matters: aligning our lives with God’s priorities and trusting Him with the outcome. Through both encouragement and challenge, the message reminds us that purpose isn’t found in big, visible moments, but in everyday faithfulness. In the end, it calls us to simply use what we’ve been given to love and serve others right where we are.
