It would be beautiful work The Mother Sehr came into being, taking the pandemic in its stride to a new adventure in early childhood; to awaken the family to a collaborative and unprecedented journey of transforming the task-bound role of a parent to a study, experiment and research-oriented openness in which their own understanding shines as a light and invitation to the child’s growth. Sehr is a journey to nurture the openness of the child to life by opening a new world of self-discovery for the parent in new and authentic ways. It is formed out of a vision to create a conscious environment to nurture the spirit of each child to stay open, curious, interested and eager Sehr has been co-founded by Nandita and Ashima. Nandita has more than a decade of experience in applying integral education principles in early childhood. Guided by the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, Mirra Alfassa of Sri Aurobindo Ashram Puducherry, she led the Auro Navakriti pre-school for 14 years in Delhi. She anchored programmes in self development, teacher training and parent counselling. In her earlier years, she also worked as a photojournalist. Ashima has been working with Manzil Mystics, an NGO working to bring about social change and enrich learning through Music in elementary school. She is an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and a Chartered Accountant, and has previously served IL&FS Education in strengthening and supporting education in government schools This podcast is done by Ashima, introducing Sehr as an experience for her
