Presence in the present

In order to live in the presence of God like the scripture says in Psalms 91:1, you need to live in the present. Unfortunately, I’m a world of expectations, goals and visions. It’s very tricky to do that. We are constantly trying to figure out the next step and that in turn causes us to live either in the past (to prevent future mistakes) or the future (to predict ‘possible’ downfalls and setbacks.) but we are barely ever in the present fully. And maybe that’s our problem!
