Growing up in church, being a PK and having a calling on your life has it's perks, but it also has it's moments. I've always been one to not hide my flaws because it represents authenticity; and authenticity breeds effectiveness; the kind that draws, but also the kind that fights. I embrace that I'm less than perfect, and although my humanity depends on his divinity, his divinity doesn't depend on my humanity....for that, I'm glad because overall, regardless of my fight and me wanting to give it up, it keeps being given right back. However, in all, I've learned that the extent of my warfare is contingent upon what's on the other side of it! My push has always been my weapon. It's true...no matter what, you can take the girl out of the church, but you can't take the church out of the girl...no matter how much she tries to hide. However.... I'm breaking my religion and these are my confessions!
