Psalm 84:5 NIV ‘Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage’ is a bible passage which has been important to us for a long time – keeping our focus on where God is working, and a determination never to get too comfortable! Sunday 15th March was our last Sunday living as nomads. Having spent the past 40+ years without a building of our own to meet in, we’re about to move to the LifeLine Campus of buildings at 352-364 Valence Ave, Dagenham RM8 3QU. Our challenge will remain ready to move wherever the presence of God leads us! Our long-time friend, Hugh Osgood, gave a good provocation using 1 Kings 8, that as we might rightly be excited about moving into a new building – with everything looking new, God is the one who has led us here – and He is also unchanging in His character. Because His law is written on our hearts, whoever WE meet, will meet Him because we’re carrying Him with us everyday, everywhere. Let’s never be tempted to settle!
