This episode begins a series study in the book of John. John, the disciple, wrote this book to convince people to believe in Jesus (20:30-31). From the beginning, John establishes that Jesus is eternal, is in fellowship with The Father, and is Himself God. John has focused on seven of Jesus' miracles to demonstrate Christ's divinity. John establishes that eternal life is promised by Jesus for those who believe (have faith) in Him. John features in his book Jesus' seven "I am" statements. John also features the most well-known summary of the Gospel (John 3:16). Let's read through together and see what we can discover.
