Python Takes Some "Me" Time
Episode 6
Tuesday, 12 November, 2024

Suzan Vaughn, an animal communicator, recounts her experience with Kunda, a Python, and his human companion, Suriya. Kunda used a photo of a soft blanket to communicate his preference for varied textures. Despite Suriya's frantic search, Kunda reassured Suzan that he was safe and would return in time for their move. Two weeks later, Kunda reappeared exactly as promised, emerging from the wall into Suriya's arms. The story highlights the importance of deep listening and trust in animal communication, emphasizing that it is a form of telepathic communication as ancient and new. Kunda, my Python teacher, taught me several lessons. And, shifting into a snake's perspective to understand a slithery point of view was enlightening. As an autonomous-type person, I fully grasped the need for time alone, but up until I met Kunda, I hadn't considered the same need for snakes. But this story is not all about me. It's about a reptile's perfect timing; timing that accommodated her human's needs.
