Episode 12: The Intricacies of the Senate
Episode 12
Thursday, 1 December, 2022
The Senate is a mind-boggling institution. It has countless rules, moves at a snail's pace, and what in the world is a Parliamentarian? To help orient us is Laura Dove, the Secretary for the Majority under Mitch McConnell from 2013 to 2020. Her knowledge of the Senate is extensive, as she has worked on the floor for thirty years. Join us in determining whether the Senate is a "cooling saucer," as George Washington referred to it, or a broken institution.
