Entrusted to Teach

As Christian moms, we have been blessed with children. We have also been entrusted to teach and train them. As Proverbs 22:6, says "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Teaching and training our children is not a burden, it is a joy. What an amazing opportunity that we have in partnering with God to raise our kids to be faith-filled men and women of God!

13 - Communication in Marriage

My husband, Jeff, and I got to help host a marriage conference for our church, and I got to share on communication in marriage. This is such an important topic for all marriages. Whether you have been married for 1 year or 50 years, communication is key to a happy, unified, strong marriage. God says in Genesis 2:24, “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” How we communicate in marriage determines whether we are functioning in that one flesh relationship the way that God has called us to.
