A strategic investment is needed to make this work, due to the sensitive nature of these gatherings in a safe location outside of mainland China. For security reasons, most attendees cannot purchase (cheaper) tickets in advance as it would give the authorities a chance to question the purpose of their travels and/or confiscate their passports before the conference. This makes airfare the biggest expense in organizing these conferences, followed by securing a safe meeting place and lodging in one of Asia's major metropolitan cities.Here's how you can help:First, please pray for these Chinese leaders! Not only do they risk their lives to preach the Gospel within Communist China, but they also risk their freedom just to receive training that we easily take for granted. Pray that God would protect them, provide for them, equip them, and prepare them to continue serving faithfully in one of the most difficult mission fields on earth.Second, help sponsor a Chinese pastor and send him to one of these two Great Commission Conferences for the Chinese Church! The need is roughly $1k per attendee, and we are expecting 60 total. Over $50k has already been raised, which leaves less than $10k to go.
