A recruiter spends less than 6 seconds to screen a resume and decide about your candidature! I am Priyanka from Delhi with 12 years of experience in headhunting and have handled talent acquisition for some of the big media houses in India. I have hired hundreds of professionals across domain and industry during my 12 years of industry experience and have always noticed that many people struggle when it comes to making a good resume. Hence you need to make your resume in such a manner that it strikes the recruiter and he/she is interested in either reading it further or at least save it to be screened in detail later. Recently I have been getting a lot of request for help on resume writing as there are many people who have lost their job and are looking for a job right now after the Corona Outbreak. So here I have shared some tips for making a good resume to ensure that your resume doesn't get screened out in the first level itself. As the final selection of a candidate is not just depended on his/her technical skills and experience as a lot of such small things are the ones that make all the difference between people who have the same skills and experience And helps the hiring manager take the final call in selecting a candidate for the job.
