Recorded March 22, 2026 This week we have a very special episode centered around a local event that benefits Hockey Fights Cancer. We;ve told you in the past the fight goes on past cancer month and now we are backing up what we say. Joining the Mermaid and myself is Al Given who is representing the Haymarket IcePlex where the event is being held. Al himself is both a Veteran and a Cancer survivor who has led a full life; you will love hearing about the event itself and how he got into hockey. Special thanks to Anna's friends Billy and Mike for mentioning the charity event to her. We then go into the week's games on the ice---Our Caps playoff hopes may be dimming but capturing 5 out of 6 standings points against sometough competition makes for a good week overall. Keep your eyes out as we plan to plug this event all week long---it will take place March 28th.
