We are back with an episode from on the road in Scotland! Luke and Bryant come to you from the land of whisky, bagpipes, kilts, and thistle. Joining them for this special episode is the incredible Zander Murray (@zandermurrayofficial on Insta). Zander made history when, as a professional footballer, he came out as gay in 2022.To start this episode, we recap the 2025 seasons for Angel City FC and LAFC, with the black and gold heading into the playoffs with an incredible mid-season signing in Son Heung-Min. At 11' the Day in Gay crisscrosses the European continent with some stories from France, Italy, England, and Spain. We also offer some thoughts on how 2025 has impacted our immigrant and trans loved ones, to let them know they are always welcome here.Then, at 18', we welcome Zander Murray to LGBT FC, and he shares about his love of and challenges with the beautiful game, finding unexpected allies, coming out, and life since then.
