Satan Deceives The Nations Before The Last Day; Gog, Magog - Pt II

Rev. 20:7-8 are among the most troubling verses in predictive prophecy: "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea." Most Reformed expositors, even historicalist postmillennnialists, believe this means that Satan will be given new strength and again afflict the saints right before the last day. However, Dr. Francis Nigel Lee has a different interpretation, a much more optimistic one, and it was endorsed by, among others, Dr. Loraine Boettner.
