Why Values Are Everything for a Company

We know what values are in the personal sense. And if we looked it up, they'd be broadly defined as preferences concerning appropriate courses of actions or outcomes. Value systems are proscriptive and prescriptive beliefs and are the basis of intentional activities. What does that mean? Value systems not only tell me what not to do, but more importantly what to do.
