Cognitive phase-- Learning the skill. You make alot of mistakes and it's uncomfortable. 2. Associative phase--start getting good at the skill. Make fewer mistakes. Get in the grove 3. Autonomous phase-- Muscle memory kicks in and you don't even think about it any more. you are good enough at it. You are not motivated to improve. 3 Techniques to get of the Good Enough Zone 1. They focus on improving performance and technique 2. They focus on the end result they want to achieve 3. They seek feed back regarding their performance Deliberate practice is more important that number of hours practiced. Progress is more important than mastery This may be my last show.
