EP 14: Dear Black Women, Trust Your Voice
Episode 14
Wednesday, 26 May, 2021
Black women have been fighting the battle to be heard and seen for what seems like, since the beginning of time. And you would think with all that is going on with the call for injustice to end ( since slavery was abolished) that we would have made it by now. But, aht-ta-aht that is still not the case here in 2021. We are still fighting to be taken seriously when we say we are in pain, or need help at hospitals. We are still fighting to be seen in the corporate world, and we are even fighting to be seen and heard by the people in our lives. What's it going to take for people to hear us when we speak? That we mean what we said when we said it. Like, "hey man, I said what I said." This week Brooke and Phara discuss the power of trusting your voice in every area of your life and what can happen when you let you voice be silenced. Join the conversation!
