Featuring Rhode Island photographer @kannethaa and an anonymous, female Boston artist. Another conversation about our experiences as women in the photo industry in New England. This episode specifically addresses issues concerning not just female exploitation generally, but also advantageous/unbalanced relationships amongst colleagues, couples, friends, people of different ages, etc. It's important to consider the intentions of the people you work with and why they might be how they are-- why is an older man asking to shoot with me, a younger model? This conversation addresses how to go about these situations personally or with others in need of help. We also touch upon representation in the photography industry as well as methods to stay safe when looking for people to work with (photographers, stylists, etc).
