Get ready for an engaging Finnish panel discussion at the Polish Climate Congress: "Green solutions from the north. Showcasing selected forerunners from different energy sectors". The panel will be officially opened by H.E. Päivi Laine, Ambassador of Finland in Poland. Spondeo is bringing together top experts from six Finnish companies to explore innovative green energy solutions that could also be applicable in Poland. From biogas production to circular economy partnerships and district heating systems, our panelists will reveal their insights into driving sustainable change and share their good practices. All the companies invited to the panel are leading the way in transitioning to a fully renewable energy future. Baltic Sea Action Group has initiated cooperation to produce biogas from sewage discharged by ships at the port. Gasum processes over 1 million tons of various waste and side streams every year, while also producing over 35,000 tons of nitrogen in nutrient products for farming or industrial use. Gebwell Polska, a leading provider of district heating products in Poland, opened a new Polish factory in 2022, establishing it as a main production hub in Central Europe. Infrakit is an industry-disrupting digital platform that makes sustainability more appealing by offering 20% savings in total project costs. VG EcoFuel, a member of Meriaura Group, collects used cooking oils and processes them into biofuel. Wärtsilä Energy supplies engine-based, highly flexible power plants for balancing of renewables and produces ship engines working on carbon-free or carbon-neutral fuels such as green methanol and green ammonia.
