In our previous episode, Raavan, the unconquered king of Lanka met his first taste of defeat. The arrows of Ram had shattered his chariot, and his pride along with it. For the first time, the Lord of Lanka turned back from battle, his armor heavy with humiliation and his heart heavier still. That night, as the torches burned low, the golden city stood silent and its people whispering in fear, its king lost in thought.In today’s episode, we will see one by one, the curses he had once laughed away began to echo in his mind Nandi’s warning, Vedavati’s vow, Nalakuber’s curse, and the prophecy of Anaranya. Each voice reminded him that fate was circling closer. And yet, Raavan was not a man to yield. He had faced gods and conquered worlds. He would not bow to destiny. As the night deepened, he looked down upon his sleeping city, his beloved Lanka, trembling under the weight of war. And at that moment, the king’s heart turned from anger to duty. He ordered his guards to protect the people above all else even above him. Then, his voice thundered through the hall, “Wake Kumbhakarn.” The order spread like fire through the palace corridors. For deep beneath the golden streets, in the caverns of Lanka, lay the sleeping titan, the one who could shake the earth with a yawn and crush mountains with his tread. Kumbhakarn, the mightiest of all Rakshasas, cursed by slumber, bound by destiny.
