We proved with scripture that Jesus did not have to exercise perfect faith in the hope that he would rise on the third day because he KNEW that he would be raised. We also, once again, identified the conflation of two terms which have completely different definitions: faith and faithful. We revealed the error of using these two terms interchangeably. And finally, we took a look at some of the Pauline verses that the most extreme "Jesus had faith" proponents twist into oblivion with no regard to context. Today, we end this "Faith of Christ" series by looking at some scriptures from the earthly ministry of Jesus in which many use as proof that he exercised faith, just as sinful man is required to do. But first, we will break down Paul's description of the Man Christ Jesus in Philippians 2:5-8, a passage used by proponents of the "Kenosis Theory" to claim Christ emptied himself of all Godhead attributes (deity) in order to become a man. We will also take a look at other non-Pauline verses that are often used by those who insist Jesus Christ, God in the flesh - was required to exercise faith during his earthly ministry.
