Reach Out: Please include your email and I will get back to you. Thanks!Revelation 12 A great sign appears in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She is pregnant and cries out in labor. A great red dragon appears with seven heads and ten horns. The dragon seeks to devour her child, but the child is caught up to God and His throne. The woman flees into the wilderness, where God prepares a place for her. A war breaks out in heaven, and Michael and his angels fight the dragon. The dragon is defeated and cast down to earth. He pursues the woman, but she is given wings to escape. Enraged, the dragon makes war on the rest of her offspring, those who keep God’s commands and hold to Jesus. We are reminded in this chapter that spiritual warfare is real and ongoing, but God is always in control. The woman symbolizes God's faithful people, and the child is Christ, whom the dragon cannot destroy. Although the dragon is powerful and full of fury, he has already been defeated and cast down. We may face trials, attacks, and pressure from the enemy, but God provides protection and strength for His people. The wilderness might seem like a place of hardship, but it is also a place of safety prepared by God. We are called to stay faithful, keep God's commands, and hold firmly to the testimony of Jesus. Victory is certain, and we can stand firm in that hope. Present Lord, we come to You with grateful hearts, knowing You are always near and never forsake Your people. You have defeated the enemy through the power of Christ, and You protect those who are Yours. Though the dragon rages, we trust in Your strength and faithfulness. Help us stand firm through every trial and hold fast to the testimony of Jesus. Give us courage to obey Your commands and wisdom to recognize Your provision, even in the wilderness. Strengthen our faith, and remind us that Your victory is certain. We rest in Your promises and live for Your glory. Thought Questions: The dragon could not defeat the child, the Son of God. In an uncertain world, what does it mean to you to know the Savior is undefeatable? We overcome the accuser by “the blood of the Lamb”? How does Christ’s blood inspire you to love Him more than even your own life? In what ways are you holding fast to the testimony of Jesus and keeping God’s command, even as you face opposition or hardship?
